Today, we rolled out our August 2024 core update to Google Search. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of search results by prioritizing content that users find truly valuable, while reducing the visibility of content designed solely to perform well in Search.
This update reflects feedback we've received from creators and users over the past few months. As always, our goal is to connect people with a variety of high-quality websites, including small and independent creators producing useful, original content, when it aligns with users' searches. We’ll continue to focus on this in future updates.
Additionally, this update aims to better recognize improvements made by websites, ensuring that the best content across the web is shown.
